Shel Banks BSc Hon, IBCLC, Chair of LIFIB, Infant Feeding Specialist and IBCLC  

Shel is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with extensive experience within the NHS in research, training and project management. Her own successful private practice assists mothers and babies with feeding issues, and she also works in the tertiary sector with various national organisations. She is the author of “Why Formula Feeding Matters”, and is currently working on the Cochrane systematic reviews on Infantile Colic.  


Emma Dewey Director of Babyem

Babyem specializes in training maternity nurses and other postnatal babycare specialists. Babyem provide a range of accredited training courses in the London and also online. In addition to running training courses Babyem work with organization internationally to support them to develop their training, as well as reviewing their policies and procedures.
