I feel like I have more arms/tentacles to my practice now, and a greater breadth of solutions for sleep and well-being, as well as helping parents cope, which is great!

- Katie Fisher, 2018

I felt I was a good practitioner before (I was) but feel more confident in saying so now, I have had my eyes opened to some really complex family situations and this has given me a fresh oomph about why what I do is important. I have changed how I do consultations, much less I know it all/will fix this for you and more empowering and options on how parents can fix this, so the consultations are less this is what we will do or what the plan is and just more education about what they can do, why this or that might happen and finding out what they might like to try, just more relaxed. I have found a way to offer more support time for those who need it with-out overwhelming others that sleep improvement takes 6 weeks plus. I loved the allergy module and the practical sleep strategies, behaviour and temperament and the food and nutrition, I've been able to show understanding and empathy with a family of a child who likely has ARFID which I definitely wouldn't have been able to do before.
